On an island with this many miles of beach, it’s easy for everyone to spread out and enjoy their own piece of paradise. The white sand faces south, meaning the sun rises at your left shoulder and sets at your right. Beautiful views are yours, whether you’re an early riser or like things a little later.
Queen of the Sea is located oceanfront towards the eastern end of Emerald Isle, in a quiet part of the island. It’s only three streets deep from ocean to sound in this area, meaning less people are along here, even in the busiest times.
With two baths, two bedrooms, and an additional sleeping room there is room for seven. The large dining room table can seat everyone together. Smart TVs are in every bedroom and the living room. A full width covered deck with outdoor furniture faces the ocean. The fully stocked kitchen means you can spend more time where you want to be. The provided linen service makes things easier at the end of the day.

Update: We heard you! Occasionally someone will say that they wish the oceanfront bedroom could be larger. We agree, that would be nice. Unfortunately the only practical way to do that would be to expand into the living room area. That was not something we were willing to do. Having that large common area is integral to what this home is to us. So we decided to take an approach that wouldn’t remove any space from anywhere else.
Over the winter we took down all the old paneling in the room and added pocket doors for the entry door and bath door and installed French doors for the closet. This eliminated two door swings and made another smaller. We also took the opportunity to add and move some outlets, add a slightly larger TV and clean up some of the old cabling for it.
And you still wake up to that amazing ocean view.
